Welcome to Animal Wellness Connection pet sitting for pets. Animal Wellness Connection is devoted to providing exceptional pet care that is guaranteed to meet your expectations. Enjoy your vacation and time away from home worry free. While you are away Animal Wellness Connection will provide love, attention, exercise, and stimulation with the best possible care in the comfort of their own home. Your pet's safety and well being is monitored by a Certified Veterinary Technician. I am also a Certified Small Animal Massage Practitioner and certified in Pet First Aid through the American Red Cross. Unlike most pet sitters in the area I have extensive training and years of experience in animal care, husbandry, animal nutrition, animal massage, dog training, and veterinary technology.
WHY HIRE A PET SITTER?
Pet Sitting is an alternative for boarding. Family and friends can not always be counted on and many times not reliable. By keeping your pet in your own home you can reduce exposure to disease, decrease anxiety from an unfamiliar environment especially with geriatric pets, exposure to inclement weather in a boarding kennel, eliminate the hazards of traveling by car or plane when you take your pet with you. When you return home, you may also have the inconvenience of fitting your schedule to the hours of a boarding kennel, which may end up costing you an extra day. Home care will keep your pet happier by keeping their regular routine with meals, sleeping and play schedules. The other benefit of pet sitting is to help maintain the security of your own home by providing crime prevention measures and give your home that 'lived in' look while you are away.

* Charges for 5 or more pets will be assessed on a case by case basis to be agreed on during initial consultation.
** Due to safety and potential health risks, dogs require a minimum of 2 visits per day. No exceptions.
OVERNIGHT STAYS (Includes 2 visits morning and evening)
This is for just home care over night stays or for 1 to 4 pets. For 5 or more pets will be accessed on a case by case basis.

KEY PICKUP AND RETURNS
Once we have developed a trusting relationship, you can opt to leave your keys with me. Most clients prefer this method. Keys will be stored in a secured lock box with no identification on them. This will save on charges for key pick up and returns. Also it is convenient if you have to leave town with little notice or have frequent sitting requests to your home.
If you choose not to leave your key with me then we have a $10.00 charge to pick up keys before you leave and $10.00 to return key. If you pick up or drop off key with me then there is no charge.
HOLIDAYS
*** Extra Charges for Holidays $5.00 extra per visit for these holidays, $25.00 extra for over night stays per day:
New Years Eve, New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day.
CANCELLATIONS
I don't over book my services therefore once you have booked a service I may turn down someone else to accommodate your schedule. Therefore:
Cancellations less then 48 hours from departure date are subject to a $20.00 fee per day of prescheduled visits.
No refund or credit for early returns.
* LESS THEN 24 HOURS NOTICE FOR SERVICE Add Additional $10.00 fee for first visit.

Sitting Services:
New Clients must pay 50% of fee up front with balance with 7 days of return.
Established Clients must pay total balance within 7 days of return.
All Other Services:
All Fees are expected to be paid at time of service.

PET TAXI SHUTTLE SERVICE
Can't get away, no transportation or unable to make appointment for veterinary services, grooming appointments, day care. I also stay with your pet during veterinary exam and then return your pet home. Do you need to pick up your pet from Pet Emergency and transfer to you personal vet during business hours? If you are expecting a pet to be picked up at the airport or have one flying in, I can pick them up for you. You will need to make prior arrangements with the servicing business for payment arrangements of those services. I am unable to transport livestock or horses.

It is pretty much understood that the reason dogs into trouble is that they are bored. One of the ways to solve this problem is exercise. If you work long hours, are physically unable to or find that your schedule makes it impossible to get your dog out to potty or to exercise here is a good alternative. Your dog will be happier and so will you.
We offer 2 choices :
The leg stretcher works for a potty break, fresh air, a chance to stretch their legs and get out for a little romp. This is also a good choice for a geriatric dog, obese dog or one with physical issues. In those cases the dog decides the pace.
The 'Power Walk' is for dogs with high energy and dogs that are destructive if left alone too long. This high energy walk is good for calming and enriching the lives of an hyperactive dog. Power Walk includes warm up of stretching exercises and cool down after from a certified canine massage therapist.

WEIGHT LOSS AND SPORT EVENT CONDITIONING PACKAGES
Is your pet dealing with serious health problems, pain in joints, difficulty getting around? Has your vet told you your pet needs to lose weight? You've tried everything and nothing has worked. Are you short on time and not able to give the necessary time to get your pet in shape? I can help with an exercise program that includes walking, cavaletti an easy obstacle course to improve balance and range of movement. After each session your dog will enjoy stretching and strengthening exercises as well as a full body massage. The sessions are not forced and done with gentle encouragement. We make each session fun.
Soon your dog will look forward to their scheduled sessions. Once your dog reaches his weight goal, we continue with a maintenance program for continue success.
4 week Program Weight Loss Package 3 x’s week (90 min per session)
Includes 30 min walk, stretching and strengthening exercises, cavaletti, heated hydrotherapy and massage $350.00
(For the weight loss program we recommend a physical exam first with your veterinarian for possible lab tests, diet recommendations ect)
4 week Program Maintenance Package (after reaching weight goal) 3 x’s week (90 min per session) Includes 30 to 45 min walk, stretching and strengthening exercises, cavaletti, hydrotherapy and massage. $350.00. Once your dogs weight is stable you can then go to the Power Walk Package.
Want to improve your dog's sports performance outcome. Whether in conformation, agility, rally, field work, lure coursing, tracking, ect. Our 'Conditioning Program' can improve, reach and drive, topline, flexibility and extension is improved, better balance and coordination, range of movement, lessen chances for potential sport injuries, longer endurance, improve overall placements and scores. Don't have the time but want to be successful? Start your canine athlete with our 'Conditioning Program' today.

POOP SCOOPING
One Time pickup: $25.00 per hour, one hour minimum.
Once a Week Pick- up : $15.00 once a week for 1 dog. Add $3.00 for each additional dog.
Once a Month - $25.00 per hour. One hour minimum.
Disposal of waste in your can is free.

Do you have a dog that is due to whelp but have an impossible work schedule with little room to change. I can keep watch on your expectant mother while you are away. Or perhaps you have a new born litter that needs to be monitored the first few days. Do you need bottle feeding or other care done while you are away. As a Certified Vet Tech and Certified in Pet First Aid, I can be your right arm, keep an eye on them, you can focus on your work or enjoy your outing and not worry if things are ok at home. Wish you could attend a show, event, or just get away. I can be there for you and keep you updated.
Check up visit (30-45min) $20.00 with no immediate whelping, ect to be done.
Sitting and Keeping watch $25.00 first hour $15.00 per hour after, or $100.00 for day.
Assist in whelping $30.00 first hour then $20.00 per hour after.
Time of day does not matter.
DOGGIE SITTER / WALKER FOR HOTEL STAYS
Are you here for a convention, meeting, reunion or just on vacation and you brought the dog with you. You want to go out for dinner, sight seeing, or visiting, but can't leave the dog in your room. The weather is too hot or too cold to safely leave your pet in the car. Finding a kennel to board without reservation for a short term can be a hassle. We have the solution for you. While you are out and about we will stay with you pets. We come to your hotel and sit with your pet, play, cuddle and go on potty breaks and walks. You then can enjoy your outing worry free.
Minimum 2 hour visit. $40.00 first 2 hours, $15.00 per hour after.
This a great service if you are unable to be there for routine veterinary house calls. As a certified Veterinary Technician, I can be there for you, hold the animal for their necessary services. You won't have to take time off from work, disrupt your busy schedule and your animals get the care they need.
Minimum 1 hour visit $25.00. $15.00/per hour after.

MEETING DELIVERY/REPAIR SERVICE CALLS
Need to be home to meet the repair man. Expecting a home delivery but can't get away. I can be there for you and you won't need to leave work or change your schedule.
